★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing stay with the family at Rick's place. The morning and afternoon decks were brilliant. House is on the ridge between Urquhart Bay and Oceanbeach with amazing hill walks/runs for all age groups. Views for miles and binoculars for the more inquisitive/nosey of us.....I could watch the boats on the harbour all day. Sorry not many house photos but im sure they are on the website

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Ricks place, oh my goodness it was just amazing, New Zealand native birds, beautiful walks, breath taking views from both sides of the house. Very peaceful and relaxing. Rick made us feel so welcome and if we needed said he was only a call away
The beach was only a 5-10 min walk, will stay there again we loved it. If I could post higher than a 5 I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AN exceptional place to stay - one of the best we have ever stayed at in NZ and a great host too. The place has such fantastic views over the Pacific on one side and the harbour on the other. The owner has done a fantastic job maximising the enjoyment of the views through the way that the outdoor seating is set up. The property is incredibly well presented through out and has everything you could possibly need for a family break. Highlight had to be sitting in the Spa listening to the Kiwis. Will definittely be back
