★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The advice and service I have experience while under the care of Good Hi-Fi has been great. The owner is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, and gives really good advice without trying to up-sell you. The reason I have to leave a 4 out of 5 star review, is that the owner is very very difficult to get a hold of. I rarely got any updates without having to chase up my repair several times. Phone calls are not answered during the stated opening hours and the shop itself is often closed during these times. Perhaps an appointment-only model might be more appropriate? Overall, he was the only one that could help me and in his company I got some great advice and my speakers have been revived and they sound absolutely amazing. Definitely recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner of this store is the most unreliable business owner in Dunedin. I arranged for him to come to our house on a specific day at a specific time and check a system problem. No show. Went to his store, was super fortunate to find him there, no apology, no explanation - just an awkward laugh and nervous foot shuffle. I persisted with him and arranged to bring the component to the store, again specific time, specific day. Business hours advertized on the door, closed when supposed to be open, and no show. I and another frustrated customer left in disgust. Never again.
