About Us
Boman is the man behind the success of Good Planet, ZaberriWorld adventure and Best Berries farms. Boman started in the industry working at another farm when he was only 15. He had an empowering vision to one day own his own farm. He was determined to get going early, so set out to find a land owner that would lease to him.
Boman spent many months looking for the right property, often being turned down as being too young. He persevered until he found the ideal piece of land where the landowner fully supported his vision and gave him his first break. Boman will never forget this person and that day that it all begun. As the years progressed and the business grew Boman purchased his own farm land.
Looking back Boman says “Dreams Have No Limits” as long as you have the passion to go after your dream and not give up. He is a firm believer that every generation has the opportunity to remake the world into something greater. Boman has proudly grown his Best Berries business year after year to now being one of the larger suppliers of Strawberries in New Zealand and exporting to international markets.
Boman is constantly thinking of new ways to give us even better products to savour. Sustainability and looking after his expansive team is always at the forefront of his mind. He always remembers the support of his parents, and the values they taught him. These values will continue to be passed on to so many that are now working with him. We get to enjoy delicious Strawberries because Boman is dedicated to his vision, driven by his passion, and operates with a caring approach to the local community.
Our Farm
Our farm is based in Riverhead, Auckland. Set amongst the west coast native region it has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We have ‘Pick Your Own’ fresh strawberries and real-fruit ice cream available and our new inflatable fun course at Zaberri World.
We focus on premium quality, taste, consumer health, and Environmental Sustainability. We have emerged as an innovator and a leader in the Strawberry industry within New Zealand. The hard work that has been put in over the years is reflected in the consistency of a top quality product that is produced year after year.
We are passionate about growing sweet juicy Strawberries and to build a sustainable farm for growing and distributing superior quality products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fun experience!!! Was so amazed at how sweet the strawberries were and how much we could fit in the bucket. Place has toilet, tables and sufficient parking. Went there on a Friday around lunchtime as well so was a bit hot but took us around 45mins to fill the buckets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge parking area, friendly staff, yummy strawberries and ice cream. PYO buckets are $24 for 3kg approx. An excellent place to keep kids busy and enjoy a couple of hours or berry picking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place to bring your family and enjoying the PYO fun together. Finding good strawberries like a treasur hunt, need some patients. Recommending to visit before the mid of February since we found less berries could be picked over there and we could barely fill the 3kg bucket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great day out! Lots of activities available other than strawberry picking like bouncy castle etc. Didn't expect March would be good but still got bucketfuls. I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars because it's annoying how there's a different queue for each activity: strawberry picking /ice cream/ bouncy castle /coffee etc. Ended up standing in 3 queues for no reason and had to queue up again. Just make them all the same or have clear signage. Otherwise this place is awesome!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely and sweet strawberries. Not the cheapest in town but well worth the quality - plump, big and sweet. It's more an experience rather than just a standard PYO. There is also a kids adventure course. A real nice day out for the family, the kids absolutely enjoyed it. They have other berries to add on some selected days. Love it ♥️!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came by to do some strawberry picking. The place wasn't too difficult to find. They have a large parking area so it wasn't too hard to find parking. It also had an alternative exit making leaving quite easy.
We went to the ticketing area by the strawberry field entrance to grab tickets and a bucket. The bucket doesn't look very big until you realise how many strawberries it can fit. It was an interesting place to spend an afternoon, picking and snacking on strawberries. There wasn't much shade on the fields themselves but it was lined with trees. They also had other berries for picking but the raspberries were out when we went.
There is also a large playground for kids which requires a separate ticket for entry. It looked quite interesting and also had other activities. The other building housed a cafe to grab some fresh fruit ice cream. It would have been nicer with someplace to eat or rest after coming from the fields but it was a fun experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ZaberriWorld, IMHO is a world-class tourist attraction for tourists and Kiwis alike. I was amazed at the shear size of the operation and the skill with which they operated it. The fruit is export quality for a fraction of the price of the supermarkets- honestly! And YOU and your tribe get the pleasure of picking them AND eating to your heart’s content! To be truthful, I stopped eating after 15 and then just piled them into our bucket. Fabulous eating area, parking space, cafes for ice cream and coffee and a park/playground area for the children. You can literally make a day of it! Five dollars admission- isn’t exorbitant and neither is the price for the fruit! Highly recommended- 10 STARS!!
