Invoice 4877 $101 We could not balance the washing machine, so we needed to get professionals in to do this, we found that when we put the front feet on it was very loud and unbalanced so we took the feet off and it worked better, the machine was not used much initially and we put it down to uneven floor boards and we had flooring replaced, there is a knocking sound on one of the cycles, I know now that this is actually a feature of the Maytag washing machine, sounds like you are washing a pair of shoes in the machine, can hear through 2 closed doors a hallway and into our lounge.
Another Invoice of $120 for Plunket Electrical to attempt to balance machine because their first attempt like ours was unsuccessful, once again, really loud, jumping all over the room even on the new flooring, you can hear the money in the machine jingling, and machine has bounced about 10cm from the wall in 1 machine wash.
At this point Gooder Equipment send new washing machine, and test the initial washing machine back in Wellington. this is why I know the knocking sound through one of the cycles is a feature of this machine as it happens in both machines.
Invoice 5172 $110.69 New machine is being used a lot now as we are in our high season, machine flooded, buckets of water came all the way out of the laundry on new flooring and into hall way onto carpet, too scared to use again, contact Plunket Electrical, they run again and find excess washing powder, so if any of our guests use 2 of the measures of washing powder the machine will flood, I know this because same guest did the same thing the next week, buckets of water all on my carpet in the hall way from the laundry room.
There is not many other options for a coin operated washing machine, and Plunket say that the other Oamaru businesses with this machine have no troubles -
I was expecting better performance buying new. (not the $330 in invoices)
