★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful wee patch of bush with a short and easy loop track. A great place to take kids, complete with a Kiwi Guardians checkpoint, or to seek a quiet time out for yourself. Riroriro (grey warbler), piwakawaka (fantail), tauhou (silver eye) and tui are common, and I've also spotted korimako (bellbird), kotare (kingfisher), and Australian rosella.

Well maintained walkways make for an easy stroll with prams or wheelchairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice short meandering tracks through dense stand of native trees and shrubs. Followed about by a curious Fantail. Saw and heard Tui. Some trees of obvious great age. Wheelchair friendly and all flat.
