★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I share this story about my cousin because I don't ever wish it upon anyone else,
My cousin use to work for Autostop under GPC which is now Napa, to cut the story short,
My cousin loved his job and has worked for the company for years and years, he was bullied by his boss and pushed him to depression mode and slowly seeing suicidal signs, he reached out to family for help and I advised him to ring and join the union, he rung the companies HR she got involved but she never followed proper procedures it was swept under the carpet.
Shortly the boss resigned and soon to find out he was also under pressure from the top which he then rubbed of to his staff.
Another guy then took over the role and now the staff were so under pressure, being short staff no one could take any breaks, they were eating and working right through, no 15min breaks NOTHING, once again they informed HR several times and were ignored.
I have known several staff to have gone through depression/suicidal and have left the company due to not caring for your workers.
HR really need to listen to there staff cause you don't want someone's death on ur hands because you didn't do your job properly. We are humans to treat people the way you want to be treated.
