★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time at Grey Ridge Vineyard. Enjoyed a wine tasting with Sue. Had a very nice platter, ''The Boss''. Was great to sit down and have a chat with the owners and it was a very relaxed vibe. Highly recommend to anyone! Its a great setting with awesome views of the vineyard and surrounding mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was harder than we thought to find an open cellar door for wine tasting on a May afternoon in Alexandra. Apparently many wineries close to visitors for the winter from Easter onwards so it was with great pleasure that we chanced across Grey Ridge wines. Paul was a wonderful host, everything you want in a wine tasting, passionate and knowlageable and you could get a real understanding of the hard work that he and his wife Sue put into their picturesque land and vines. The wine itself is excellent. Hard to pick a favorite, the Rose light and delicate, that and both delicious Pinot Noirs ended up in our prurcases. We also got the lucky chance to take home some other home made delicacies including a Pinot Noir jelly drizzle which is also exceptional with cheese. Authentic and genuine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sometimes life provides the most wonderfully unexpected surprises and today was one of those days. We visited Grey Ridge vineyard, because it was the first vineyard I found that was open in the area.
However, what a gem and what a treat was in store. The wines are outstanding and their white pinot noir (yes, you read that right) was just one of those surprises.
And then there's the tasting room. We spent a lovely afternoon enjoying the wines, the view and a delicious platter.
Can't recommend it more highly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great experience whilst at Grey Ridge Vineyard Accommodation & cannot recommend it highly enough. The accommodation is beautiful with high quality finishes, the wine is of high quality and amazingly varied & views were spectacular.
But our highlight was undoubtedly Sue and Paul, we throughly enjoyed chatting with them & learning about their day-to-day experience of running a vineyard.
A must visit whether for a wine tasting or an overnight stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I parked our caravan on this stunning property - views are incredible . Sue and Paul are amazing hosts very helpful . Enjoyed wine tasting and helping pick grapes. Their wines are awesome, hence we have purchased a couple of cases of wine to be shipped home. ???????.
We recommend if you are passing through this area - stop off and stay here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The views alone over this vineyard to the distant hills which are subtly depicted on the winery labels make this well worth a visit. Add in the passion of host Paul in recounting his experiences as owner and the magnificent platter (sufficient for 3 hungry adults) prepared by his wife Sue so we thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The range of Grey Ridge wines is possibly the single most delicious set of wines as a group I’ve ever tasted. We really enjoyed chatting with Paul and Sue while hearing about how they’ve crafted these wines, all with the incredible vista across the vineyard ridge together with the circling Hawkes. A magnificent venue with an incredibly well curated selection. Thanks for a great time!
