★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely ride to and from Founder's Historic Park In Nelso. While you are there, the next door attractions are the Myazu Japanese garden. (Very beautiful at this time of year) and the Whakatu Marae.( You will need to make contact to visit) The Marae is very beautiful with many amazing Mairi carvings and a lovely Wharenui (traditional meeting house).
