★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service is great, and great prices to ride trains for. The engines are kept running, no matter the price, and I love that about them. If you’re lucky, you can even get to see inside the workshops, where you can see the main engine, Gabriel. The trip was a great 45 minutes and learned a lot of history. The cafe food was great, and the service was quick. Recommend it a lot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing. Wish the team all best to get the train back to opua! Bought couple souvenirs in gift shop, Great commentary. Food in the cafe was really good. I would of tried over hundred iced chocolate didn’t think it would be great in a train station. Highly recommend if in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff, interesting trip for kids and even for adult.. the Guide is very knowledgeable, there’s so much history to listen from.. they are still fixing some part of the train trail so you can’t really do the whole trip. But it is worth the travel. Every money we pay for the ticket will do a huge contribution in doing progress of the renovation they are making as of the moment…
