I would highly recommend HIS NZ Ltd to anyone going to Japan; i would almost say it's a necessity if you don't speak Japanese. It can be quite intimidating organising a trip when you don't speak the language, but HIS NZ Ltd ensure when you arrive you're setup and ready to go! Once you have the SIM card and Japan Rail pass they organise for you, Japan is an open book.
HIS NZ Ltd Staff (we went through Haruka Rogers) really go out of their way to make sure your holiday in Japan is smooth and enjoyable. They're very knowledgeable and eager to pass that onto you.
Additionally, their post holiday assistance saved us a tonne of money and heart ache: We lost a bag on a JR Train on our last day in Japan, but within one week of calling HIS for help the bag was in my hands in NZ (with all items still there too). Incredible - thanks again Haruka!
