Let’s just say Sam is the man with the Master plan. Very professional and quality work. I really recommend you come here to get your hair dreadlocked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got my braids done here and omg I have gotten so many compliments about my hair! The first day I went to the mall, there was like 5+ people complimenting my hair everywhere I went, wasn’t used to it till it kept happening Hahahaha! Went to the islands for holiday, went swimming with it how many times and it was still looking good when my hair was dried. I’ll honestly recommend this place, the couple who owns this place are the real OG, super friendly and fr this is probably the best place to get your braids done! My braids last for more than 3 months! I’ll probably save up again and come back again!

These guys are awesome, I've been going back for years now as they are the only truly authentic African Hair-braid place in NZ, they do the best hair extensions, the hair has never comes loose, they have been doing this for so many years now that no one can beat the price or the quality of work! An institution of K Rd!! And they are the best dam dressed couple in the biz! Thanks for years of great work & i'll be back again soon :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever. Employees were kind at first until they found out I didnt want to get my hair braided there but only needed product. Then did not want anything to with me, wouldnt help with anything when she knew what I was looking for. Would then not accept eftpos as payment and made me go get money out across the road. Business is probably illegal at this point. Will not return

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the place, kind people and very fast at braiding. Got my hair corn braided and was done within an HR, and costed 80$. Fyi, you should know that they don't have a card machine so best to bring cash. (ATM nearby), they do accept bank transfers tho. Definitely a recommendation. ?
