★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Dunedin for a spooky-themed weekend and Hair Raiser Tours did not disappoint! Andrew is an awesome (and very well dressed) tour guide and storyteller who really brings Dunedin's history to life. He really went out of his way to fit two tours into one weekend for us, and we had such a fantastic time at both the Underbelly Crime Walk and the Northern Cemetery tour. Even got an unexpected fright in the cemetery - highly recommend! ?
Would love to do more of these tours in the future! Thanks again, Andrew - much, much appreciated ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dunedin’s underground tunnel network was built in the 1860s for nefarious purposes. Some of these alleyways now give access to hidden gems such as bars, galleries and boutiques. Others are only accessible via a guided tour by Hair Raiser Tours. I’ve done a couple of different tours. They are sold as ghost walks or crime walks, but you do also really get a chance to appreciate the architecture and to get a completely different, subterranean insight into the city. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tonight I did a tour at the Southern Cemetery. It was definitely worth it. Andrew is very knowledgeable about Dunedins past and a very good tour guide and story teller. If anyone likes a mixture of both spooky and history, this is definitely a tour to do.
