I started in the insurance industry at the age of 18. Although I completed studies in Architecture with a Diploma, I somehow fell into this industry and I became very passionate about Insurance and educating people on why it is important to have the right type of insurance cover having being through personal experiences myself. I have over 14 years experience working with insurance providers, such as ING Life, OnePath and Partners Life was my last employer. During this time I worked in many departments of insurance companies starting from entry role doing data entry, Key Account Manager, Team Manager and my last role was a Business Development Manager for the Auckland region. I have gained knowledge of most internal departments and processes from New business, Underwriting, Claims, Sales & Marketing and compliance which enables me to help with queries from clients and ensure they get the right information. I was also truly fortunate to have been Awarded Employee of the Year in 2013 by Partners Life. I was furthermore nominated by Partners Life for ANZIIF (Australia & New Zealand Institute of Insurance) Young Insurance Professional of the Year (2015). During my 14-year tenure I have worked with over hundreds of Advisors in the industry to help with their training, accreditation, development and business growth strategies and the same time, learnt from them, their talents and their passion for the industry.
