★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning panoramic view from the top of the quarry on a nice sunny day. Short walks range from 30 to 45 mins depending on your walking abilities. The initial port of entry can put a great pressure on your cardiovascular system but the pass has a gentle degree of ascension. There are laminated signs describing the history around the area throughout. Be mindful and considerate of private residents nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happy monkeys were busy swinging between the equipment and exploring their limits - a great range of challenges for all ages, skateboard/scooter area and had some exercise equipment too. Easily go back again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home base for the Halswell FC. Great park with very large green space. Lovely model train rides when running and pond with live eels to feed and show the kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sunday afternoon train ride is a must for all grandparents and the kids. The well maintained locos, steam trains, railcars and electrical makeups are a credit to these retired and near retired, gifted folk of all ages. An incredible venue to behold and enjoy.
