★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We come down here from Akl often. Bring the kids to the Surrealist Garden (Alice in Wonderland). So cool. The gardens are beautifully presented and maintained. All seasons there is something to enjoy. Picnic by the lake is great.
There is a wharf for a boat but yet to find anything that comes through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking at Autumn time. Had a wonderful few hours here and could easily have spent all day. These spectacular Gardens are far superior than the paltry Auckland Botanic Gardens. Would highly recommend a visit to Hamilton Gardens- particularly in autumn with the gorgeous coloured leaves. The themed gardens are so well planned and they are adding more themed Gardens to the mix.
Will certainly be back to visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cute and beautiful garden. Best to not go on a very hot day as there is barely any shelter and it is a lot of walking. Lots of spots for photo taking especially if not packed. Lots of parking available which was great ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing, you could spend all day here or if not, then a couple of days, I haven't finished the gardens but I will definitely go back. There are many varieties of gardens and they just keep expanding and getting better. It is free and fun for all ages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning grounds but go early & do flowers garden first then do Park grounds as it got very hot fast on our day. Good Cafe with plenty of seating inside & out or take a panic. Great play ground for kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful place. I love it how there are different ares with different themes. Even the way you transition from 1 area to another is honestly something else. The place is huge so you do get a decent walk around while enjoying the landscape. Definitely worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit in Hamilton. You could easily spend a few hours exploring the gardens.
We only had enough time for some of the enclosed gardens. They were outstanding. Kudos to the designers of these. Each different garden felt so unique and fitting their respective styles. Japanese garden was definitely my favorite. It was so peaceful. Right up until a couple of loads of families with kids showed up!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely gardens. Well kept and lots of variety. Takes about 2hrs for a good wander around. All the various gardens are surprisingly large. A few grassy bits amongst the enclosed gardens good for a picnic. Entry is Free! You can pick up a map brochure for a couple of dollars.
