★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our food took just over an hour to get to us and it was just sushi ? We weren’t warned that there may be a wait which was a little bit frustrating as we had somewhere to be. The sushi was good and good portion size.

I shd sizzling prawns (19$) 6 pieces sizzling in oil with Beans sprouts and their special sauce which was basically Mayo. Avoid.
Also had tuna sashimi which was son special 22$. 3 pieces. However very expensive for quantity. But was fresh.
Lastly had teriyaki chicken. Plz avoid at all costs. Small serving even though it was their large dish and the sauce tasted like right out of supermarket bottle. (30$). Avoid plz
10$ for a glass of Pinot ..
Total bill 81$. Which is what you would pay for fine dining and this is nothing like that. Just another ordinary restaurant. Typical Nz stuff. Ripoff
There r better Japanese restaurants like Haru. Etc..

it never disappoints the food is fantastic, great favours & the sizzling prawns are a stand out dish with the famous secret sauce.
Relaxed dining & a crowd pleaser.
Will keep coming back each time I visit & my friends love our catch up & the delicious food.
Wish we could transport this restaurant to the bay.
10/10 to Patrick the owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is awesome. Patrick never lets us down with his amazing cooking! Staff and Elaine are very friendly! The environment is chill and relaxing with a nice Japanese ambience. The desserts are very yummy and is always a must as an after meal palate cleanser. I love the Apple Tempura but the Apple Spring Roll is also good. It’s not too sweet and the crunch from the batter and the apple adds texture and makes it an exciting dish. Highly recommend! Don’t ask what is good because everything is yummy! Must try everything!
