We are located at 26 Victoria Avenue in Wanganui which place used be the BNZ bank building. MOMIJI is a Japanese owned fully-licensed restaurant.
Our menu consists of Appetizers, Bento boxes, Sushi, Sashimi, Pan-fried, Domburi, Ramen, Udon, Soba, Japanese curry and Dessert. We have a wide selection of beverages which includes Japanese beer such as Sapporo tap, Asahi, Kirin, also Steinlager, Heineken tap and bottles, Japanese Sake, NZ wine and more. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lovely lunch, the pricing is very good, the food is freshly prepared and the salmon was super fresh and melt in your mouth . The decor is not the best but I go to food places for food and we definitely coming back !

Would have given 5 stars but outdoor garden didn't look like it had been cared for since a year ago and the girl who greeted us was obviously having a bad day - all other staff were awesome and good prices.

We had Chicken Katsu Bento & Chicken Katsu Curry Rice. Amazing presentation and not too pricey.
Would love to give a 5, but....I'm sure the rice weren't Japanese Rice (Uruchimai) and we find the food very salty.

Different, delicious range of sushi + bao buns to pick up and take away for lunch.
Also has a yum restaurant menu, if you want more of a lunch or dinner.
