Nothing is missed and every possible option is explored to ensure you receive the best of experiences. Absolutely hands down if you are looking to book that lifetime holiday, these are the people that will make that a reality for you.
Given the current status of travel globally it is important that you know too, with the numerous trips that we have had cancelled this year, Alex has worked tirelessly to obtain any refunds that are due - her commitment and dedication to her clients highlights the calibre of this incredible woman and her team at Hannagan & Grieve. When the world re-opens for business, Alex is the first person we are calling that is for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I have had the pleasure of dealing with Alex from Hannagan & Grieve for numerous overseas trips now. From multi-generational multi-family trips to the islands to action packed adventures through Europe. Every time Alex has had amazing attention to detail and taken care to suggest those special extras that make lasting memories.
It was probably our most recent experience however which showed us just how important it is to have an amazing travel agent. A long planned bucket list trip round the world for our 10yr wedding anniversary proved not possible through the COVID crisis. We heard many stories of people being left high and dry but a few months on, we count ourselves incredibly lucky to not have lost a dollar. Alex worked tirelessly to get us refunds on flights, accommodation, transfers & activities. As if that wasn’t enough I was almost in tears when arriving home on the day we were supposed to have been leaving for our bucket list trip, only to drive in the driveway & find flowers from Alex sent from the South Island just to brighten my day as she knew we had been looking forward to our trip for such a long time.
We are so looking forward to a time when we can resurrect our dream travel plans and wouldn’t deal with anyone else but Alex from Hannagan & Grieve

Alex booked a “once in a life time” trip for us to the USA & a Caribbean Cruise.
Alex was so helpful with suggestions on accommodation and sights to see while on our holiday.
But sadly due to Covid 19 we were unable to take the trip.
Since then Alex has done a great job in communicating and organising refunds for us. We will definitely be seeing Alex in the future when it is safe to travel again. We highly recommend Alex to handle travel arrangements to others including family and friends.

Despite being based in the Middle East, I would always go to Alex for travel bookings, no matter where in the world I was going to and from. You can not wish for better service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I have done a fair bit of travelling in the last 10 years and to some far flung places like Uganda, Namibia and Oman to name but a few. We try to plan a major trip every 2-3 years and after recently moving to Dunedin we decided to try Hannagan & Grieve for our next holiday. Bronwyn was fantastic and super helpful, with her assistance we soon put together a 10 week trip visiting the UK and Europe with a stopover in New York. Unfortunately the Covid pandemic put paid to the holiday, but Bronwyn worked tirelessly to get us 100% refunds on all money paid and kept us fully informed throughout the whole process. I'm sure she was doing the same for all of her clients, but it felt like we had our own personal consultant fighting for us all the way. I can't recommend Hannagan & Grieve enough and will certainly be back when we can travel again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last year I booked a holiday for my husband and I and four children to visit Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore. Alex was fabulous with suggestions and understanding what would make the holiday work for a family with great advice on accommodation and practical tips about lengths of stays. She had experienced some of the places we were going first hand and I found her very knowledgeable in all aspects of travel.
Then Covid struck and we were unable to go.
Since then Alex has been so helpful and worked so hard to help us with refunds for our trip. She always maintains such a positive attitude and clear communication and has been a pleasure to work with. I am so pleased we booked through Alex initially as she has followed up right up until the end.
When everything settles and we are able to travel again I will definitely book with Alex. I would highly recommend her to anyone booking an overseas holiday.

She has taken a personal interest in ensuring our daughter was able to return from the UK safety, even tracking her flights. Prior to the pandemic she supported us to plan overseas travel that met all our requirements. Alex is amazing, she listens to every request and goes above and beyond for her customers. She’s awesome!

She obtained full credit for my airfare after my trip to New York was cancelled because of the Covid pandemic, and meticulously paved the way for my recent trip, constantly checking on the ever-evolving, complicated requirements on both sides of the Pacific. She guided me through the messy MIQ lottery process and MIQ website successfully with clear instructions once I was in the running for a hotel room. Alex kept me up to speed throughout the process as governments and airlines changed the rules, making sure there was no stone left unturned to enable a smooth journey. Once I left home, Alex kept in touch via email and voicemail noting when my multiple flights landed and informing me of new requirements or events as they cropped up. She could not have been more conscientious and professional!! My trip went flawlessly (despite many opportunities for a slip-up) and I give Alex full credit for making it happen! Aside from being a stellar travel professional Alex is a lovely human being with a big heart and unwavering enthusiasm for her client’s travel adventures.
