★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After experiencing a very very poor response from people doing the trade me rentals, we went to Harcourts Rentals in Whangarei and felt welcomed as we walked in and to be shown what was available and how they showed how much they wanted to assist us. Thanks ladies

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to contact letting agent re problems with one of her tennant's (I own the adjoining flat ) receptionist polite and tried to be helpful but letting agent repeatedly refused to return my calls ...have had to try to resolve the problem myself...my daughters and I would NEVER use them to manage our rentals ...50 years as a landlord have taught me to consider the rights of long term neighbours ..obviously not her policy to do so

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ unfortunately had to deal with Helen Frederickson, was only made aware of a viewing cancellation half an hour before the viewing, she hung up on us multiple times while we were attempting to confirm the viewing cancellation/find out why, really unprofessional and rude. one star. Also did not pick up the phone when I tried to call later on. three angry emojis for her ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have recently sold a house with Harcourts. The agent brought an amended agreement back to us and did not disclose the change in the agreement. BE AWARE. I rechecked document and changed the amendment back to what we wanted. I also told the Harcourts agent and the rental team that I needed a rental. Once they had their commission they did not want to assist in any way. So we have now bought a home privately and this has been a much better experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used Harcourts Just Rentals to manage our rental. We interviewed 3 agencies before choosing. From the get go this company has been professional, prompt and friendly. Being overseas we needed people to have our back in keeping our property well maintained and our tenants happy. Covid created extra work and the team went above and beyond to help. We had specific instructions regarding what we required for this tenancy. They worked hard to make our wishes fulfilled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my worst renting experience with Harcourts Rentals. The home I rented had consistent issues that didn't get sorted, and if the issues were fixed it was because of my ongoing prompts. Their communication was inconsistent and extremely bias to the home owner. I left the house 100% better than how I found it however they found ways to take every cent of my bond. I didn't have the energy to dispute this and was in a state of shock (NEVER have I not received my bond back). I didn't miss a beat with rent payments and looked after the house as if it was my own - however that clearly meant nothing. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH THEM.
