★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really like this shop. I was surprised by how much stock and the variety they had. While some more popular things are definitely a few bucks more expensive than big supermarket chains, it's the smaller boutique products that make this place shine.
Really helpful workers there too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great if you love organic and still want different options. There is a little bulk section, egg refill station and plenty of naked veggies. Unfortunately, most things still come in plastic. I bought my ECO tanka bottle here (21$).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I used to shop here years ago. But stopped as soon as commonsense in mt eden opened. I stopped because Of the incredibly rude staff that worked there. Like really arrogant.
I’ve since moved to grey Lynn so I’ve been stopping in more and the staff are definitely better. But the eggs I bought were not fresh. In fact they were so bad I threw them away. Even though the Best before date was another week away. And they were refrigerated in store which I found odd.

This conceited manager/owner was no use either! Don’t expect good service if ur a colored person!

It was one of my favourite shops. Since its association with Huckleberry Farms, the "local" shop is losing its charm and character. The cabinet of warm pies is gone... (frozen pies are available). The sweets cabinet had lots of good cakes, slices, all gone, and replaced by cakes wrapped in plastic...
