I went into photo shop area and wasn't quite sure how to use the kiosk. I was served by Alex who was amazing. Very patient and helpful. He went above and beyond . I only printed out 2 photos that cos a total of 10 c but he treated me as if I was spending $1000.

Nice big range, staff are friendly but can be a little in your face, I guess because they are probably on commission, otherwise a nice big store

We went to the New Plymouth store and bought a washing machine. The salesman Kerry was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and we were very impressed with his high standard of service 5 star!

Don’t recommend to use their print center. Their electric and furniture sections provides always nice customer service, good knowledge staffs, and items are reasonable price. Their print center have plural useless staffs who always brings me into trouble for nothing. Each time I used, l was involved something such as half of my order were missing or they require me to show ID to receive 6 small photos which l ordered on online, knew exactly what inside, and this time the order was only $1.60! ID for β€œTo protect our valuable customers” lol No, he was just making a trouble for nothing. It was first time they asked to show ID after l used the place couple of times in 2 months, and the useless staff claimed to me that they always require customers to show your ID. lol Last time when l was there, it was the same useless, and he didn’t ask me ID. This happened because the useless staff couldn’t hear my surname is when he asked. They had made me angry in high frequency with unimportant, minor troubles but they cannot solve. Don’t recommend to use their New Plymouth print center even the website is well invested and and handy to order.

Just served by the rudest man ( in the photo centre) completely lacking any customer service skills what so ever. I greeted him good morning to be met with no response. Produced my collection item details on my phone, he made no attempt to look at them and just snapped " what do you want, who are you. ( a quick glance at the details on hand would have told him that) regardless i gave him my name & item i was there to collect, he just turned and walked away, nothing said, so i proceeded to follow him and was snapped at "stay there!," how rude, anyway hes mumbling something from the room i am not allowed to follow him to, so i reiterate my name again to ensure i am collecting the correct item. He comes out saying " nimi" or something to that effect, i said "marie" ( wanting to make sure its the correct item) he almost spits out of his mouth well " some people call it mimi" wth, ive just told you my name & now you are disputing its pronunciatian, i just want to leave at this point, this man has ruined my morning, i am always friendly & polite & dispite the bad service i still thank him as i grab my item, to no response or thank you back (should i be surprised at this point). I cant help feeling there are so many people out there needing or looking for jobs & this man with his terrible customer service is employed in a role that he clearly does not appreciate because for myself i will think twice now before returning to Harvey Norman if that is the customer service that is being provided to customers who spend their hard earned money in store. Service like that ends up being a liability to the business resulting in loss of customers. In the crazy & uncertain times we live in at the moment one would think a simple smile & hello ( 101 of customer service) would be greatly appreciated, received & reciprocated.

Can not believe that when you purchase a product from the floor and you come back to pick up said product that thedont check that it has everything. One would expect the manual and the Installation manual and brackets to install product Would be included. No! Checking to see that they are with the item before it leaves the store seems to be either not important or maybe just not included in their pay bracket. Clearly some people are not invested in their jobs and take their jobs as a joke. Very disappointed at service two weeks now not able to use product. Sitting waiting to be installed.
