★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place and atmosphere. Beers were nice but the take away beer tastes nothing like what they serve on tap so very misleading and the bottles are extremely gassy so no good if you really want a drink straight away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove up specifically to see them, Google business page said they were open. Turns out this is the brewery proper (not open to the public, why have opening hours?) and not a tasting room, so we missed out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drink the ginger fusion beer from liquor stores, and it’s amazing, the best alco ginger beer I have tried. Limited where you can buy this sometimes, but try and buy a case of it where I can. Very gingery although a mild taste, you can taste the quality in this product.

This listing is slightly misleading as this is not open to the public - I anticipate as the HB Brewing Company is so popular with its ginger fusion, crushed peach bomb and other ciders they could benefit from a shop for when the filter room is closed. Keep producing Hawkes Bay Brewing Company!
