β β β β β Absolutely amazing, great service, waitress staff bloody fantastic, FOH lady was awesome makes you feel welcome as soon as you open the door.
My partner doesn't like to eat seafood but she decided to try the prawns here and now she doesn't shut up how good it was.
The food was some of the best Japanese food I've had in Auckland. Prices quite well and portion size was just right.
Definitely will be going back and recommending this place to others often.

β β β β β Service was fine and promt, food was tasty...however I was so embarrassed by the couple of strands of seaweed salad they served. It would have been better left off the plate. The sushi was fine, very thinly cut and wasnβt served with ginger or wasabi. The scotch fillet was the saving grace and nicely cooked, served with a delicious sauce on top. The $36 price tag did not justify the meal at all!! The rice bowl wasnβt even filled to the top , they also do serve you a SMALL salad before the meal. Nothing worth photographing. The high price and lack there of meal has me astounded. Will not be retuning or recommending. Asahi Japanese in bakehouse lane Orewa is a far better restaurant featuring lower prices and greater portion size.
