Rather nice place to visit. I go here at night and is rather quite cool to look back at a lit up bridge. Also a great place to zone out and think about nothing. I do this all the time when I go across the bridge. The walkway is also worth it too, especially through the trees

A beautiful bridge to add a bit of sparkle to the city.

Yet another asset for Palmy - one of many. Walkers, cyclists and joggers share this bridge with ease due to the generous width. Water fountains for humans and dogs at the entrance. Also available is the Fiore Coffee cart (the owner is very friendly and always up for a chat), the Scoop Truck for delicious Duck Island ice cream (again, the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable). Positive vibes abound - the entrance is busy, but plenty of seating. Happy people enjoying ice creams and coffee before a stroll across the bridge. It even lights up at night. Love this bridge, love Palmerston North.

Wow, what a beautiful bridge. And the kids had fun on the lime scooters.

Beautifully designed piece of architecture, which really comes alive all day & night. Such a great structure to photograph from the land, air & water

A flipping amazing bridge that goes right over the mighty Manawatu river. Never seen such a solid well designed bridge in NZ. Nice and wide. Beautifully lit up at night. Nice viewing points. There’s also a counter telling you how many people have used the bridge today. Can’t believe this gem is tucked away here. Also makes travelling to Massey a breeze for the locals.

Cool wee bridge that leads to the Bridle Track, a super nice ride. The coffee + ice cream vans parked up were actually quite cute too.
