The reason for two stars is it has become too PC when it comes to the hydro slides, you now have to line up at the bottom of the stairs before going up and the kids get board waiting and leave the line, which to me makes it a waste of money. (gone have the days of making a train)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soon much fun, forget the kids, I went down both the vertical drop water slide and the toilet flush water slide over and over again, jumped the big platform, high enough for me, inside there is a canteen and heated pools, great spot for an excursion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Need to he 8yrs old to go on the slides. The water isn't that warm. Not like the aquatic centre in Rotorua. I would have enjoyed a long swim if the water was a bit warmer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the sa and sauna. Kids loved the tube water slides and kids pool. Can go as guest to the gym too. Lenty of changing rooms, showers etc. Would be good if attendants are more observant as child almost got drowned & they didn't pay attention

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to hangout with family. Cost $6 to enter for adults and $3 for kids which only gives access to the pools and spa. But besides the "pools" and spa there are few activities you and your kids can do (for additional 12$/head for full day).
Make sure to bring your own snacks and drinks and you can easily spend whole day there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a bit of fun (for kids mostly). Good place to bring the kiddies to drain their endless energy. The cafés hardly ever open, but I wouldn't go there for the coffee. Good amount of staff around to keep watch, though their response time could be better. They have some ridiculous rules re kids and the slides though, kids have to be eight or above or they have to be accompanied every time with an adult. Seems less like safety and more like getting another ticket out of the mum and dad. Overall, pretty good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really impressed with this pool. Dont normally travel to Palmy but be worth returning for the Lido. Heaps of family change rooms that have showers and toilets, which were clean. great size pools and different options. Would be fun in summer, lots of hydroslides. Under 4 is free aswell as adult supervising so our visit was free! Only down side was lockers were coin operation only - I never carry cash anymore and having to get $4 out is a bit of a pain, in an almost cashless society. Also would be great if the pools were a little warmer and the showers had hot water, little guy was freezing. The room wasn't as warm as it normally is, in a heated pool enviroment.
Great experience,friendly staff, clean facility. definitely will go back. Not far off 5 star. Also, just out front is bike and scooter hire. Good fun!
