★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had an early lunch after my walk. I had 2 dogs with me and my baby. Garlic mushrooms were very tasty. I asked for a side of bacon and that is when the very bad experience started. The “chef” took the bacon from a plastic container with her bare hands, dropped it in a pan, turned around to me, cleaned her hand on her dirty apron, punched the price on the till for me to pay, then turned around to the pan and, again, with bare hands peeled the slices of bacon, 3 of them, and lay them in the pan! ??? I just stood there in shock! Very bad attitude from this lady, which I can understand, we all have bad days! The one thing that I don’t get is bad hygiene! Petty, because the food was very tasty, but I can’t get over this. Not coming again, unless things improve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a Saturday Morning I love nothing more than easy parking, great service and a killer rosti stack with extra bacon washed down with considerably delectable bean juice. Always served by the beautiful staff with a smile which makes my day. Very impressed with Heath Street Café

A clearly poorly trained till attendant typed away at her POS system like she was writing a Tolstoy novel …. taking an extraordinary amount of time for a single , simple item …. At the conclusion she forgot to actually give me the bought item which she had to be reminded of .
Also didn’t t offer to heat it ….
The product itself on top of being overpriced was dry and unpalatable …..
Will definitely not return …..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little cafe and the bene we had was spicy and full of flavour. Fast service and very friendly staff.
Only problem is there is not much sound insulation. Therefore it can get alittle noisy inside. Luckily there are outdoor sets for a quieter experience.
