We are delighted to introduce our newest staff member, Deidre Venter, who joins the HWC team as our new Service Development Lead and SuperGrans Coordinator. Deidré is an Occupational Therapist, and has worked in South Africa and the United Arab Emirates in mental health and specialised education. Deidré also volunteers for the Hastings and Napier Women’s Refuge, and is a Board Member of the Family Violence, Intervention and Prevention Charitable Trust (Family VIP Services). ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is an amazing facility. Hawked Bay ladies. Do try the many activities held here. I have to say that I have met some wonderful people here. I wish I just had more time to experience more of what they offer. Do try the Bowen therapy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I Luv this place.... they offer all kinds of services jst for Women!! I received a Reading, Spiritual Cleansing, and had Bowen Therapy. All within 7 days, nd for a Gold Coin donation.....AMAZING nd the receptionist is soooooooo Lovely nd Friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vital resource staffed by wonderful empathic but realistic people. A safe place. Various classes held and support of needed is there to. I'll say again. A safe place.
It's calm and gentle but with events and classes to stimulate. You don't have to be referred. Great spaces for artistic classes plus so much more.
If you're in need of info to help protect you, but it's not an emergency as such,( maybe getting there though), these wonderful hard working - Angels in disguise, will not just point you in right direction and hook you up with those you need, they offer comfort to those who were in dire need and no one else to talk to. Trust them.
Also just for any lady, Trans or non binary to enrolled in many self improvement classes and creative classes when you thought your creativity had been crushed out of you. Just go visit even if it's just to sit in the sun and have a cup of tea. They are a huge resource. Make use of them.
