★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heroes Burger used to be one of my favourite burger joints in town, with some of the best smash burgers you can get in Christchurch. But on my last few visits (more than once--wasn't just a one-off thing!) the burger patties have been SO salty that it comes close to ruining the whole burger. Please guys, ease up on the salt and come back to greatness! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food has all the makings of a really great takeaway, especially the smash burgers with a wonderful balance of cheese, pickle, and amazing tasting sauce. However, everything was completely oversalted. Even the meat patties were just too salty. It made it inedible eventually. Even the kids stopped eating the chips and that's saying something! However, we would like to give it another go and ask them to hold the salt on everything. Maybe it will be a winner next time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noooo... Please don't adjust the seasoning just because one person didn't like it. You have all these other great reviews, because there is finally a place that seasons their burgers. If we want bland, unseasoned burgers we can go to one of the many mediocre burger joints across the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've ordered caesar salad (with chicken) and chips from here and it's absolutely amazing! Taste is amazing! The salad is so nice, fresh and tasty and the chips are mouth-wateringly good! Nice and crispy and hot. Definitely ordering from here when I can. Food is amazing and service is exceptional!

The burger was excellent, full of fresh ingredients and held it's shape until the last bite. The chicken itself was tender and juicy.
Loaded fries were good too, heaps of flavour, cheese and gravy with big long chips.
Milkshake was nice and smooth, just right for the burger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible service, had the most helpful person over the phone as was ordering on the fly and not looking at a menu and food was ready pretty much as I arrived. I had a double smash with bacon (loved it) and my wife had an ‘Amazing Chicken’ burger which had a few parts where the chicken was tough but was still a very good burger. Large fries were a tad expensive in my opinion. Summary, I will definitely be back for a smash burger and the incredible service. Great job team. Not all heroes wear capes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time Hero and I have to say.. WOW!! Phenomenal service, friendly and helpful. We had the dinner for 2 and couldn’t believe our eyes when we opened up the box! Beautifully presented and plenty of food! Burgers were amazing!! The onion rings and chicken nuggets were perfect and the chips were seasoned exactly how we like it! What’s best is… the meal was HOT! Absolutely love it. Please never change ? 100/10 would recommend trying this place!
