★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just came to Manila Grill after a bad experience at another Filipino restaurant based in Christchurch and I was blown away! The chicken-pork adobo was exactly as yummy as I imagined it would be, the pork spring rolls were perfect too! I’m so pleased and I can’t wait to try more Filipino dishes. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is I felt the service was poor. Nobody greeted me as I entered, I just stood there alone for several minutes, and the person who served me seemed like they wanted to just move on and not talk. Other than that, amazing experience, salamat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WARNING TO ALL: If I could give no star I would but unfortunately google doesn’t allow. Went in there today and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by this waitress that was very rude. When she sat us, she said it in a very rude way and made us feel unwelcome. When she was scanning our vaccine passes, I confronted her asking if she was mad because her attitude towards us was not okay and her answers were ‘No, how would you like me to act?’, ‘We’re busy that’s why I am acting like this.’ I was appalled and thought to myself that if she didn’t know how to be kind and welcoming as a host, then she shouldn’t be working there. Regardless of how busy a restaurant is, the hosts attitude shouldn’t depend on this. I probably won’t come back there anytime soon, go somewhere else people, Sari Sari is only 5 min drive away from this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty Filipino foods, big portions and reasonable priced. No parking available within the property but heaps of street Parking available. Also, the restaurant is a bit small so make sure to book in advance if visiting as a group.
