โ โ โ โ โ Not good. Changed hands recently, ignored for drinks and meal service, entrees came out at the same time as mains. When we raised the issue they shrugged shoulders, apologised, and walked off (but did nothing to fix the issue - and still charged full price). Given Poppadoms which we did not order so presumed were complimentary (often are with curries) yet were then charged. When we asked them to take them off the bill the manager said "you should have told us earlier"..... Server spent most of the night sitting down at the bar on her phone ignoring the few customers that were in the bar/restaurant (had to shout to get her attention despite the place being empty). A big drop from previous owners, urgent changes needed.

โ โ โ โ โ We really enjoyed our meal here this evening. Wonderful food (a beautiful venison burger) and drinks, served with a smile and very friendly conversation, and a lovely quiet setting to eat and talk with each other. I would highly recommend Hillcrest Haven Bar and Eatery.

โ โ โ โ โ Wonderful staff, great friendly service, good value and tasty food! Fries are amazing, pizzas thin and crispy, cheesy garlic bread with homemade hummus superb, and chicken tikka a great low carb option, with pure blonde on tap!

โ โ โ โ โ Our occasion was a 70th Birthday, seating approximately 22 guests. Apart from staggered meals throughout the serving process, the wait was worth the while. Beautifully presented and delicious tasting dishes. There were no complaints from anyone present. Some even took home their uneaten meal! It was too good to pass in, as the servings were stacked! And finally, a huge thanks for the complimentary Birthday cake,which I might add, was the best, moist and flavoursome carrot cake I have ever had the pleasure to eat. Many thanks to the most helpful and courtious staff in the buissiness. We will highly recommend this eatery.

โ โ โ โ โ We went to Hillcrest Haven for a family dinner on Friday night and the restaurant was fantastic. Staff were friendly and they made us feel welcome. We were seated fast and received great service throughout our meal and drinks. Their new menu had a wide variety of delicious options and a tasty kids menu. We will definitely come here again.

โ โ โ โ โ Took our 2 teenage boys for a mid week meal and were pleasantly surprised. We could all have a dish we wanted: curry, pizza, steak, salad, and all were freshly prepared and really delicious. There was a small wait for the food but it was worth it. The service was friendly and I was pleased that they actually scanned our vaccine certs rather than giving a quick look, like the last place we had dined. Overall, a really enjoyable local experience and we are looking forward to returning.

The garlic bread tasted funny, like off.
The chicken was raw. Like it had been cooked on a pan 3 seconds each side
