★ ★ ★ ★ ★ shades of days gone by when this was the "Abels" supermarket and my husband and I used to shop there, come away with brown bags full of groceries to climb on a bus to take us within a kilometre of home, walk the rest of the way. Those were the "good old days". Now its drive right in off the State Highway from Rotorua, Taupo, Tauranga, motorway south, fill up, be fed, go to the toilet and back out again in minutes, what a great stopping place to refuel... still get a bargain as well..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hard to find parking. Road entry by burger king is pathetic! Entry into new world way is recommended. Good shops though. Also a bar upstairs.

Friendly helpful staff. Very clean.
a beautiful vegetable fruit section.
Bit thin on some shelves due to covid.
Not a huge range.
