★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Husband went in for haircut, no customers in shop fella too busy on mobile, looked up briefly said have to book, look in book and do it yourself, and went back to mobile. Businesses like this do not appreciate your support so went down road to other barber (Groomsmen ), they did it straight away, highly recommend them, friendly and know how to talk to people ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the most terrible experience in here today. I am a woman with a partly shaved head who wanted just a quick shave that would have taken no more than five minutes to do. I walk in and ask if it's possible, there's one barber in the shop (a tall, older Caucasian man) and no one waiting for an appointment. He was very rude/dismissive. He said "nah I'm booked out and even if I wasn't, I don't do women's hair" I had explained that it was just a quick shave and he pretty much just cut me off and sent me on my way. I have never been to a barber where someone was this EXTREMELY rude and sexist. I walked a few metres down the road where the lovely guys at the chop shop were happy to shave my head. I will never be recommending this place to anyone, and I hate to think that this kind of misogynistic behaviour goes on in our beautiful little town. I have heard that this guy is really rude to other people as well. Really quite disgusting.

A superficially stylish ersatz barbershop run by two twits with absolutely horrific customer relations skills, at least to me yesterday.
Several earlier reviews suggest similar strong sentiments.
Don't bother with these very rude, arrogant, and pompous gits.

I hang out for my trips to Kerikeri just to get a haircut by the barbers at Himself. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else for a gentleman’s haircut. Top notch!
