★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I could give a black hole and not a star. Very bad experience both as a renter and a home buyer (shopper). The agent tells you sweet lies and made-up stories that you are unable to control in order to push up the price of the property. Don't buy the outstanding reviews and praising comments on their own website made about their agents (who knows who writes them there anyways) Look at the Google reviews and make out the difference.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a bad experience when we moved out and vacating the house. We were rent a house in Invercargill for almost 2 years, but because we've plan to move to other city, we decided to stop the rental. The property manager was uncommunicative since we declared to move out, we try to meet up and talk, figure out what we have to prepare and done on the vacating day but she was so difficult to reached. Finally on the last day, she was unhappy because we didn't done as she want or we have to be. Really disappointed with this and not professional attitude. It was look the mistake was on us, but we tried to talk about this to make everything smooth.

She always goes above and beyond the call of duty even ensuring that she finds solutions if there is anything amiss in her own time! She is a great communicator and a real asset to HOMAZ. Thank you for making my rental experience stress free and easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMER. My first experience renting house in NZ with Hoamz is really bad. Dec 2018 the agent pushed me to sign the contract at the same day after viewing. In fact, it was only 2 days before the new rule of letting fee prohibited. The service was good and I can give 5 stars while renting the house, because when I report for repair and maintenance with prompt action. Sadly, when I inform the the agent that I will terminate the rent, she was hard to be contacted. When the agent advertised the house, they only informed me about viewing time, not discussed and wait for my permission as tenant according to tenancy rule. And 5 minutes before viewing, she called me and ask me to wait outside the house, while I was having my dinner. That is really rude. At the final inspection day, she asked me to sign the empty bond form. CRAZY. For you who vacating a property, DO NOT SIGN THE BOND FORM BEFORE FILLED.
When I complained that I am not happy, she said she also not happy. Even not say sorry. Crazy, they did mistake but they won't to be complained. How can they run the business without knowledge about customer satisfaction.
++: Carl never tried to contact me before he replied this review below. And after he replied this review, I sent him email but no response. So he never tried to discuss. I will edit this review if there is a good intention from him.
