★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hog and Hounds is the place to go if your looking for a night out in Putaruru, they serve delicious well priced pizza from the orchid thieves as well as your favourite brews. The customer service is also fantastic, they often have karaoke and live music. Awesome atmosphere ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The size and decor of the bar is reflective of it's small town stature. It has a small pokie room, pool table and pizza's from the attached pizza place. The staff are friendly. The outdoor area out the back is small and faces the car park, hence not much of a view. Last stop along the way before reaching Tauranga from highway one so I sometimes stop in for a break from driving.
