★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bit hard to find your way, and if you only play 9holes, there is a long walk back. Apart from that , great. Nice to hear the sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son and I showed up on a Saturday afternoon in lovely weather and we had the course to our selves. Great 18 hole course and very cheap. Greens were very slow, which most likely was due to all the rain days ahead, but we still had a great round.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are in the midst of doing a golf course tour of the South Island in our campervan and have come across many welcoming courses so far. Unfortunately when we arrived about 8pm to stay before a mornings round we were met with a very hostile approach by one of the members at this course who aggressively approached our camper on arrival and accused us of freeloading before demanding instant payment of green fees or get lost in other words. We have always paid our green fees at every course before staying overnight and this was 100% our intention, however after being made to feel like that there was not a chance we were going to stay or play. The guys excuse was that the weather wasnt looking good the next day, however the heavy rain didnt kick in until after midday and we could have got in a morning game in if we were given an ounce of feeling welcome. Will not be coming back which is a shame because it looks like a lovely course. Maybe the guy just finished a terrible round! Who knows?!
