I new I was in the rite place for new fish for my small tank... Every time I go into this premises I will look for her so she knows to come find me as I will only deal with her, as she has not sent me in the wrong direction yet, and dought she ever will.. To the point I have even bout the same tank as her..... she is amazing.. and I will continue to buy from her..

I felt the fishes are reasonably priced, and combo offers are a good deal to go for. Customer service is great too. Though we didn't buy one, we will be going back once our daughter is a bit older to get her her first pet.

The very next day when we tried to begin installing we realised we just did not have the information. We phoned the Hamilton shop and spoke to the Manager Stephen who offered to help us if we called back in. We say him straight away and found we had chosen the wrong filter he soon advised us and went to great lengths to help us understand what we needed. He even did as much as he could to set up our new external filter for us to install at home. We could not recommend Hollywood Fishfarm more highly.

We needed new fish for our tank, and waited nearly 40 minutes by the tanks for some attention. We were completely ignored by the man serving another group the entire time, despite making eye contact several times he never called someone else over to assist us (there were 3 others stacking shelves elsewhere in the store). We gave up after 40 minutes and left without speaking to a single person. Waste of time and now considering doing all our future purchases at Animates!

Visited on Sunday and staff were super helpful and gave me awesome information about where to start in terms of my fish tank as well as what fish I should start with. Went back again today, Rebecca tested my tank water and gave clear good advice on what I need to do! Demonstrated how to use my new ph test kit. Great service. Will probably visit again tomorrow or the next day to pick out my fish! Thank you again!

Unfortunately you get ignored alot in this store keeping in mind I visited shortly after the opening so take that into consideration. Luckily there was one staff member that was just really on to it with other customers and when she served me. She was super passionate and keen to help have a positive experience in store... She mentioned she had worked at the other two Auckland branches as well. I've been fish keeping for years and Hollywood in general has always been a good source for aquarium supplies/advice and live stock.
