So many bad things to say about them (none of them small issues).
Our new home was not built to the Building Consent and we have been advised by Engineers that it does not meet Building Code and will all need to be pulled down.
We are out so much money and we are taking this company to the New Zealand High Court.
This can viewed free of charge as a matter of public record in the New Zealand High Court where the reference is CIV-2020-404-1426.
Be careful with regard to the other reviews you read about this company.
This review should create enough doubt for you to chose anyone else but this company but if you still unsure ask your lawyer to review this case before you sign anything.

As I've decided to go a different route my experience with HD is limited but the little I had was very positive. I'm sure Tim would be a great person to work with.

Tim rescued my property development project and led it to completion – this was a challenging and specialized task that required consents, compliance, regulatory, legal and internal council knowledge. The project had been abandoned by the original builder, and Tim managed to negotiate with the subcontractors and council stakeholders to get the job to completion. He was very knowledgeable, professional and efficient throughout the entire process.
I look forward to working with Tim\HD again in the future.
