★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed by the actions of the manager today when we went in. Was keen to take the Type_R for a test and the salesperson was ready to go (he was great). Manager walked past on the other side of the showroom and asked which car these people were test driving. When he was told, he said no. He did not bother to talk to us as customers or explain why. Just abruptly told his staff member the car could not be driven and was not for sale. He then walked off and his staff member was left to apologise profusely to us. We are annoyed he did not come over personally and explain, but instead spoke loudly to his staff member from across the room and put his staff member in a very awkward position. Felt invisible and disrespected. Such a shame, as in market for Type_R (Have paid deposit on Yaris GR 8 months ago, so serious buyer).

I have bought more than one car over my years and this was one of the most pleasant experiences l have had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding service! I was looking to buy a used car and had seen one on Trade Me at the Honda Cars Manawatu dealership. From the moment I walked in the door I was made to feel welcome and my inquiry was valued. Walter, the Sales Consultant who greeted me was very helpful and the car was ready pretty much immediately for me to test drive. The service was really quite remarkable and I felt Walter and the other staff I encountered went above and beyond to help me in purchasing the car. I was given a good trade for my old car and was even given a loan car overnight while they sorted out a few little cosmetic things on the car for me. This was done completely on their initiative as they felt it was required to uphold their high standards of service and product. The car was delivered to me the next day and I am very pleased with it. I was incredibly grateful for the informative help and the overall experience at Honda Manawatu. It really was outstanding. I highly recommend them.

Honda Manawatu (especially Kristina who is an asset to the Honda car sales team - worthy of extra kudos; and appreciated input from both Mick and Joel) looked after me in regard to the purchase of a new CRV Sport Premium. It has everything I wish in a car with many bells and whistles. Each time I'm in it, I seem to find new things to make the journey more enjoyable.
The car feels like total luxury - a very worthy competitor to its rivals.
