About Hotdogs Grooming Services
HOTDOGS Grooming Services is owned and operated by Alex Carson and is located in a quiet rural home based grooming salon which opened in September 2011 and is only 8 mins from Upper Hutt’s CBD
Having groomed dogs for 5yrs part time and completed study courses in 2011, as well as in 2013 having a further two months of extensive training in Auckland, along with travelling to Christchurch to attend seminars and workshops by the very best international master groomers from Canada and Australia, Alex is keen to offer to her clients the latest styles and techniques that best suits your best friend.
'Whilst I love all animals , dogs are my passion and have two of my own which I have in the past completed courses in ‘domestic behaviour’ and am currently enjoying competing in ‘Obedience’.
As we do not generally have more than one or two clients dogs here at any one time, the salon is very quiet which provides less stress and more ease for your furry friends. It is roomy and has indoor/outdoor flow onto a secure deck where dogs can wander in and out at their leisure while they wait to be picked up. Dogs are generally not crated, however, comfort and safety for your pet is absolutely paramount , so should we feel that it would be safer for your dog, crates are available for this purpose only. DOGS ARE NOT LEFT UNATTENDED.
We only use soap free shampoo and conditioner and provide special washes for dogs with flea and skin irritations. Your dog will leave us feeling and looking his utmost best.
