★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having had lessons throughout my golfing life, I had my first lesson from Ian about six years ago. Ian took me through a pretty thorough assessment of equipment and technique - then asked me a question that no other professional/coach had asked - "do you know which of your eyes is dominant?" I'm not going to share any of Ian's secrets here, he shares enough of them on his very informative golf habits blog. But that question made a huge impact on my golf. That and the subsequent sessions with Ian I have always found insightful and worthwhile, and I still go to Ian with any (and I mean any) issues I am having with my golf action or approach to golf, Ian's knowledge of the mental side of the game is just as comprehensive as the technical side.
No matter what level of golfer you are Ian's wealth of golf information he has collected over the years, coupled with his keen eye and attention to detail, will help you play better. My only regret would be I didn't meet Ian sooner in my golfing journey - I think I would have found the game that little bit more enjoyable and a lot less frustrating.
