Set in peaceful tree-lined surroundings, only minutes from one of the country's most popular surf beaches, Mount Golf is the perfect setting for golfers of all levels.
Our club includes an 18 hole premier golf course with an outstanding Pro Shop and coaching facilities. We also offer a modern venue for a range of functions, on-site catering, a fully licensed bar - and all only 5 minutes from the heart of Tauranga's business district.
Visitors and casual golfers are always welcome at Mount Maunganui Golf Club, to test their skills on our championship layout. Please note however there will be times when visiting players are unable to play, due to members only Club days and corporate events. Green fees are very affordable and available during most days of the week, to book a tee time just phone the Pro Shop on (07) 572 7044 ext 2.
As you can see if you are looking to play golf on a regular basis, there are many advantages to becoming a Mount Golf member, and we welcome you to the Club and to our wonderful golfing facility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Mount, as this excellently maintained parkland course is often called, comprises three very attractive 6-hole loops. There is a certain uniformity in the design, with each of the loops heading east for three holes, before turning back with three westerly-facing holes that return you to the modern and impressive clubhouse. This uniformity does not however imply monotony - far from it.

Shame on the Club. Banning unvaccinated members when this is an outdoor sport where social distancing is so easy. Especially at a time when mental health, physical health, sport & leisure activities are so important. Disgraceful.

I'm envious of the folks whose homes border the course and just roll their trolleys to the Starters for a round. There's junior golf that afternoon - great to see the next generation of kiwi golfers coming up. Member recommended we drive up the peninsula and we had the extra bonus of great ocean side views and nice dinner.
