★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A true Kiwi bach on the Eastcoast. With a group of mates on a budget this was the perfect accommodation choice. Across the main road from the beach, friendly neighbours who invited us to a BBQ and a super friendly host . Everything a Bach holiday could offer. We will be back !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is quite loud for a light sleeper. This is mostly due to the State Highway being right outside but also the adjoining neighbors (flatting in the same building) were playing loud music. This is and of itself would normally be okay but we were wanting a quiet holiday.
The inside also felt a bit grubby to me and every room smelled strongly of smoke presumably from an outside fire drum.
That said, the owner was super friendly, and offered up some good local knowledge hence two stars (she gets a star). Unfortunately that was not enough for us to want to stay two nights. One was enough.
