β β β β β Find the staff highly professional and the place very well run. It is a very busy practice but there's never a sense of being hurried. Have visited plenty of other medical centers over the years thru work and have found only one that's of this high standard.

β β β β β I have been with this Medical Center for many years and have always it more than satisfactory. Philippa is an outstanding doctor and all other staff such as nurses and reception are totally professional and helpful. As the staff at the reception desk are so busy with handling simultaneous phone calls and patient requests, I always take care to be patient and polite, and that is what I get back from them.

β β β β β I took my time with choosing a a new GP did my research, and was so incredibly disappointed and let down with decision to move to Ilam medical. Have never been left so hurt and disappointed by a doctor. And left a month later. When your at your most vulnerable a little bit kindness wouldnβt go astray.

β β β β β I used to use this practice as my regular Doctors. I spent years in pain with my shoulder and back. Every time I would ask for help or pain relief Dr Brett Mann would only give me Panadol and send me on my way. He misdiagnosed my baby, told us it was reflux etc. Turns out she had Celiac disease. This went undiscovered for over a year and was only picked up by our new doctor. Since moving to my new doctors I have gotten surgery on my shoulder and regular pain medication so I can have some form of quality of life. All of those things started with my first visit to my new doctor. If I had of stayed at Ilam medical none of the things I have mentioned would have gotten picked up or dealt with and my daughter and I would still be suffering. I personally believe Dr Mann either is incompetent or just doesn't give a toss anymore.

β β β β β In the process of taking my two kids out of here and transferring to another Centre that values kids and places more care and time on their issues and needs. Practices like these have an opportunity to really make a difference but from our whΔnau's personal experience certain Nurses/Doctors pass the buck, rush you through like a stat and are often rude but most importantly, our medical needs have been brushed over and after our phone calls or visits we have always been left feeling stink and more worried. We are not high needs, just your average whΔnau, it's just the culture here and I can't believe we hung on for so long.

β β β β β Alot of times we go to the doctors when we are at our worst. We may be depressed, physically ill, upset and stressed, oftentimes the doctors waiting rooms are filled with those who are in a real down patch of their lives. Unfortunately this practice seems to have forgotten this. You are treated like a sheep. Like a stat. It's bizzare but you actually come out feeling worse. I've never had an experience with reception, nurses, attitudes, etc, that is higher than a 5/10. You always feel like you're annoying the staff. That you're just in their way. But hey, don't take my word for if, read the feedback!

β β β β β I've been a patient of this practice for around 25 years. I've never had any issues. Receptionists are fantastic and will try find an appointment to suit. The online booking system is amazing, and has saved me time calling. Dr Cohen is lovely, and listens. On the times when I have had my Dr away, the locums I have seen have all been amazing and very professional. Yes, there are often wait times, but that's to be expected at a GP. You never know when urgent things or emergencies have cropped up. Very happy with their service.
