β β β β β Really great place to get a tat - all staff very friendly - I was very lucky - as I just a walked in to inquire when they could fit me in and must have been my lucky day and the right time as Grace was available - she said I was lucky as not many people can get a tat done on the spot as they are always very busy -
She done a excellent job and Iβm sure Iβll be going back - thanks guys very happy with my tat .

They are 100% professional and in a great location with a great shop. The talent at illuminati tattoo is phenomenal and I would highly recommend all the artists there. Ill be going here for every tattoo from now on.

β β β β β Best Shop and friendliest Crew in and around Auckland. You're basically making your Tattoo an event, not just receiving some ink.
Troy, the owner, is an outstanding artist as well as the most chilled out and friendly dude out there. Just like the entire crew there, it's a pleasure being around such a decent bunch of people.

β β β β β Unfortunately I left with half a tattoo...
Jared did my tattoo... we booked in and I came to meet him sent him my ideas so he could put something together on my arrival.
I was quoted $550 for what I wanted for a full day (that's what was said even if its not right) - perfect
It got to the day, he pushed it back to 11:30am instead of 10... I got there at 1130 and he hadn't done the design... so he sent me away and we finally got started at 12 noon.
He didn't want to finish the entire tattoo and im still not sure why... we did 12 to 3... turns out cause he had a party to get to that day.
Jared is a great guy and a great artist but he needs to reduce his rate per hour while he learns the craft and speeds up.
The girl next to me smashed out an amazing full leg piece in the time it took him to Half finish my arm.
No real explanation why he couldn't finish the tattoo. Pretty poor having half a tat on my arm.
Ive attached my tattoo $450 - let me know if im wrong here, but judging from other artists this is not ideal...
