About Ingot Metals Limited
Ingot Metals have been recycling scrap metal in Wellington since 1994. The name originates from the days when the company produced ‘Metal Ingots’, which are the finished product when metal is recycled. Due to emission law changes, Ingot Metals removed the furnace and now provide a scrap processing facility.
From early beginnings as a small scrap yard, we have expanded over the years and now operate a team of 10 staff across 3 scrap yards located in Petone, Lower Hutt, Porirua City and now in Levin meaning we can service the greater Wellington, Kapiti and Horowhenua regions.
Our Vehicle Fleet
Our range of vehicles at Ingot Metals provides us with the versatility to cater to domestic, commercial and industrial scrap metal recycling needs. We have the ability to transport everything from appliances to car bodies and will often have vehicles in your area most days of the week.
Our Team
Ingot Metals is a family run business which was started by Aidan Bognuda. Today the team consists of 10 staff across the three sites with Aidan managing Petone yard and his father Maurie managing the Porirua and Levin yards.
