Went there at 8.19 and it says they close at 8.30 and they weren’t open. Don’t have a time when you close if you close earlier...

Rip off for top up snapper card. Paid $50.30 to get $49.75. I can understand the 25 cents charged by Snapper but 30 cents on top of that!!!

This morning my friend woke me up and said we should go to get some coffee, fried chicken, chips, pizza and toliet paper. I told him; "Sounds great but I am not that keen to walk all around Wellington." He responded "We dont have to, just need to walk down the road to the diary". I swiftly slapped him across the face, I wasn't in the mood for games today. But he was right. Jala's Store has great coffee, pizza and chicken while also bearing the necessities of any household. I want to thank Jala for putting the convenience back into convenience store and apologise to my friend for hitting him. Five Stars.

Good variety considering store size. Chips were hot and tasty. Somewhat overpriced but it is an isolated convenience store so kinda expected. Attendee was polite, served fairly quick.

Do not recommend the owner is aggressive, rude and intentionally damages people's property. No way to treat customers and community members.

I contracted campylobacter, severe food poisoning, from this dairy. I had not eaten anything different from my partner, who did not contract it, and therefore know for certain it was from their sushi. Informed Environmental Services and council, not the first complaint about Jala's Store apparently. Despite appearances, food is old and reheated. Dangerous to human health. AVOID EATING ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. Should carry an official health warning. Stick to selling overpriced travel cards to desperate commuters. Truly awful. Contacted for response, abused first then ignored. Disgraceful. Simply the worst. Will never eat sushi again, especially from dairies. Yuck City!!!
