★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst service I have ever experienced today in Auckland. The hairdresser Haily is so rushy, you feel that she is about to finish her work and run away in the next minute. The comb touched my ears for several times and made me pain. It cost me 60 dollars for washing and cutting and all the things are done in 30 mins in total. Not worth that at all. I won’t be there anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here on the recommendation of a friend but unfortunately received a different experience. After growing my hair out for so long I just wanted a trim and some fringe to create more shape in my hair. Unfortunately I got a lazy cut that was unflattering and never once did the hairdresser ask me if I liked it or used any cutting technique. She tried to hide her bad work with blow drying and curling my hair but after a shower I saw how uneven and boxy the haircut was. I had to rebook at a well-known salon to get it fixed, they confirmed how awkward the haircut was. Just really disappointed on the expensive service that lasted less than 30mins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Narae is the best hairdresser I encountered in Auckland. She understands what I will be comfortable with and she knows what will suit my face. Instead of following the new trends or hair styles myself, I rather pay a professional hairdresser & stylist to come up with something that will suit me. Each and every time I went to Jin and Jen, Narae came up with a very satisfying color or style. The prices are below European prices. I also like the online booking system which allows me to pick the hairdresser I want.

Had a few awesome hairdressers. Decent price and always friendly service. Had my hair dyed today with Hailey, really like the color.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently got my hair cut here and was so happy with my experience. Went in to get a short cut and style with the wash and was paired with a nice lady (I believe it was Judy but not completely sure) who seemed to know what she was doing. Stylists spoke fluent English and heard them talking to other clients in Korean as well. My stylist was very sweet and patient, we waited for one of the two stylists at the back to finish washing other clients hair then eventually she decided to cut my hair simply so as to not waste time. She cut it a little longer than my reference and I already thought it looked great, then she washed my hair gently and thoroughly before guiding me back to my chair. She cut my hair shorter and asked me if I was happy with the length multiple times, I appreciated the reassurance. When she finished she asked me if I was happy with it and I asked her to cut it shorter which she kindly obliged. She made it almost exactly like my reference so I was very grateful. Everyone was very helpful and nice, very experienced stylists and affordable place. 10/10 would recommend this place especially for Asian hair/ styles.
