Pancakes are great. Did ask for my coffee to be remade as first one was awful. No issues they made me another one. Ok service. It seems to be missing its sparkle it use to have tho!??

I've been here a couple of times and their food is really great! Good Presentation + Great Taste = Perfection plus the bonus of having lovely and welcoming people to serve your food. For me, the best dish that they serve is the ribeye steak which they call "Stan the Wallet"!! -- which I always recommend to everyone who wants to eat here! I love their burgers as well!!!!

To be fair, they were responsible busy, and l have no idea of their staffing levels. We were seated in a side room because there were no available tables, drinks came promptly, our order was taken, then that was the last we heard of them for about an hour till a young fella popped his head round the door and said sorry for the delay. Food came 10 minutes later. And it really wasn't worth the wait, the meals looked like they had been hastily put together and delivered. I myself have been cooking for over 30 years and was disappointed with my experience and the food. Sorry Joe's but you really didn't impress

Service was great, food was very good! But no one asked us for our vaccine pass. Completely enclosed and this close to the airport, really feel like it should be a high priority place to be checking everyone's passes.

The flat white has lots milk foam in it. The pikelit cost $14.8 and only gave a such very small slice of banana and extremely small bacon only one slice! Compare to the picture on your menu on your website is totally different!!! The lettuce was rotten in the chicken burger and part of it already got dark green stuff and they still use it! Such extreme disappointed! We will never go back again! What’s waste of money and time!

The last place you’d want to dine in Queenstown. In my experience, here’s why you should go elsewhere: 1. Coffee: - Barista unable to make Flat White’s. (After several attempts, Latte’s were being served). 2. Meals: - Very small meal sizes. - Not fresh, Lettuce was black around the edges and rotten. 3. Customer Service: - Interrupted during our meal to have our plates taken away before we had finishing eating. Conclusion: - Staff are lacking in basic training in all areas. - Lack of food/fresh food - Some serious cost cutting is going on here, even very cheap supermarket foods were almost invisible on the plates. - Lack of cutlery and plates. * Based on this experience I will not be going back, nor will I recommend Joe’s Garage. Especially due to the appalling customer service.

Came to have a chill at Five Mile, we choose to have a drink at Joe’s Garage.. ordered tap BRB apple cider, coffee and Joe’s chips.. Good service, lady smiles to customers, clean and quick service.

Greatly disappointed. We went to JG because its reputation at home is great. So sad we were disappointed. It took a wee while to be served right from go standing around at the door. Then once seated, we were getting restless. There were 4 of us, and 2 other couples in the entire place. 3 staff on front and 2 in the back. Orders were taken and food delivered, was correct & about 30 minutes later. We had to ask for drinks and we were never asked again. Our meals done, we waited for a dessert menu... we went and got one ourselves, then went and ordered it ourselves. Meanwhile. We were the last 4 and it was 6.30pm. The vacuum cleaner started up and floors were wet mopped. Now we felt awkward! If these girls got off their dam phones, we may have had decent service. No dishes were taken away during our meals. Initial what do you want and that was it? Milk for drinks was left in the sun. Couldn't see out the windows for the dirt on the glass, no wet floor signs put up, bees all round the patrons ducking and diving. We heard one complain to the waitress also. Main course was 2 out of 5, dessert was cancelled bar 1 and then they couldn't find it order when we went to pay! Plenty of room for improvement here I'm afraid and no, we wont be back. Masks are mandatory too by the way.
