β β β β β A huge thanks to Damian, Jess and all the team at Johnston Ebbett in Porirua. They made the recent purchase of our Kia a total pleasure. From initial correspondence, to arranging test drives, to the sale itself, they were obliging and awesome to deal with throughout. Highly recommended!

β β β β β The Sales Manager is awesome. He knew I was buying a car off another dealer, but was so helpful still, and went the extra mile to give me good information. Many Thanks, Highly recommend this dealer.

β β β β β Absolutely poor service by service team. Took my Kia cerato that I bought new last year for first service assuming it was free as the guy who sold the car to me said so. But was told it would cost 450 dollars. When confronted they asked me for a written proof as they had nothing in the system. Shocking !!Who knows what they have in the system.
Also was told they overbooked themselves so would prefer if I come back in a month's time. Seriously!!NOW how is that my problem?? Absolutely spoiled my day. I will be writing to KIA New Zealand as well as Car Dealership Tribunal.
So just a warning to prospective buyers from this dealership; ask for written proof for whatever they say . More keen on vehicle sales and zero after sale service.
I was keen on changing work vehicle to Kia EV but lesson learnt now, would stay with Toyota

β β β β β VERY VERY BAD SERVICE AT THE SERVICE DESK! Went in made a booking the week earlier, got there on time, for them to imply that I hadnβt been there and it must of been elsewhere ? then when I waited for them to make a new booking the man behind the desk was not very subtle about saying he thought I could not afford to get my car fixed there even though they advertise themselves as the Nissan motors in Porirua and my car is a NISSAN!!! Donβt waste your time and energy buying anything from them because they donβt cater for everyone very judgy.

β β β β β While Auckland dealers did not even bother calling me back and the ones who did came up with ridiculous low ball trade in offers, Johnston Ebbett Porirua was a step above the rest with a more than realistic trade and amazing service delivery from that point onwards. Best service from a dealer I have experienced and I will never buy in my local Auckland city again. Keep up the great work.

β β β β β I booked my truck in for a service and during our phone conversation with the service desk, I requested a loan vehicle and dates for when it's available. I've been taking my truck there a few times for some mechanical issues and every time, I requested a loan vehicle. We managed to sort out a date and got it sorted.
When my wife dropped the truck off, she was told that a loan vehicle wasn't booked. So when I rang the service desk for an explanation, I was rudely been spoken to and blamed for not booking the loan vehicle.
The total cost for a 45,000 km service is $721. Midas can do it for less than $400 just for the main work needed for the service. A few of the work mentioned on the invoice wasn't even done. Two hours of labour cost me roughly $280. See photos for proof of work I paid for that wasn't done. Don't even let me start with the oil that's has been changed but it's dark black and smell burnt. It's the last time I'm going there for anything.
Bad and worse experience ever.

β β β β β Been a long while to be delivered due to shipping and silicon problems. Well worth the wait, I love the car. It feels like a different vibe from the last place we went to and the difference in sorting finance was so much easier with J.E. Communication is good as you should expect from having just purchased a new vehicle. I am left in no doubt this was a great choice for dealerships. I hope they can keep the standard up.
