โ โ โ โ โ Well let's face it, we don't go to dumpling eateries for the service. I came here because it was on a 'must-try' list. We tried both the steamed and fried dumplings which I rated pretty equally at a 7/10. The deep fried shrimps were interesting.. in a good way. Pork noodles were great.
I might go back to taste other dishes but with so many dumpling restaurants out there chances are slim.

Good place for casual dinner with friends and family or some Chinese people keen for authentic Jiannan ๆฑๅand Benbangๆฌๅธฎ cuisines:)

โ โ โ โ โ I have only had lunch here a few times. The food was pretty good.
Update, dinner here was very average. While most of the food was okay, one was a complete disappointment. The pic below is the sweet and sour pork ribs, which does not resemble the pic in the menu. It was stewed so long that most of the meat has dissolved. 3 stars is generous.

โ โ โ โ โ Owners are extremely rude. Did not have the patience to wait until my friends arrive and also was rushing us to order , yelling at us โ are you gonna order or not ?โ. No matter how good the food is, with the customer service, there is no way people will be attracted to it. I hope that you can reflect on that if you see this. Thank you.

Food here is absolutely delicious! The menu has a great range of Shanghainese dishes.
The spicy chicken in particular was surprising as the tender cold chicken was laid on top of a layer of refreshing mung bean jelly.
I've tried both types of xiaolongbao there with the one in the photo having crab roe in it although I couldn't really taste much difference between the two, both were delicious. The fried pork buns had a delicate sesame crunchy base and delightful soup upon first bite.
I've also had the sweet and sour ribs (photo), Shanghai Sauce duck, and the cumin lamb with buns.
The ribs and the duck lean more towards a sweet sauce with a bit of zest and the cumin lamb had a mild spice and heat to it (for an extra $3.00 you can add some small steamed buns to go with it).
The shop is sparkling clean and interior is appealing. Staff service is fast and friendly with the waitress always looking after their customers and reminding you to be careful with the xiaolongbao as the hot soup when you bite in could burn you.

โ โ โ โ โ Food was delicious, loved the buns especially the fried ones which had a crusty sesame bottom. The won ton soup was also good with smoked seaweed floating on it which added to the flavor. The steamed buns also good. I liked the savory rice cakes with pork and cabbage, just a little too sticky and oily but still yum. The owners were lovely just forgot to give us eating utensils and also the water jug looked like it needed a good wash. Food was super reasonably priced and I'd definitely go there again but will take my own water bottle.
